To give the festive décor the true spirit of Christmas celebrations from across the world, Surreal collaborated with renowned Spanish sculptor, Manolo Rubio, to create a colossal Falles themed Christmas décor for Phoenix Marketcity Bengaluru. Manolo teamed up with our design and production team to create a majestic ‘Candy World’ themed composition around India’s tallest tree measuring 75 feet in height. This Christmas setup was a colourful treat with lots of fascinating character art, intricately hand-carved figurines, and brilliantly painted landscapes. The different character forms included flutists, ballerinas, and quirky animals displaying joyous and celebratory expressions. About the Artist: Manolo Rubio is a renowned Spanish sculptor with over 18000 sculptures under his belt across a glorious career spanning 30 years. He specializes in creating massive, hand-carved installations from fibreglass and thermocol widely used for the iconic Las Fallas festival in Valencia. Manolo’s unique painting style for his sculptors makes his works very distinct.
